We have two ways to help you find a child care provider in Vermont.
OPTION 1: SEARCH OUR ONLINE DATABASE
The Bright Futures Website has up-to-date information about your local child care options. Search by factors such as town, program type, child's age, accreditation, and participation in the STARS quality recognition system.
OPTION 2: CONTACT YOUR LOCAL CHILD CARE SUPPORT AGENCY
The child care referral specialist at your local agency can help you find child care in your area. You can also submit this online form to have the local specialist contact you.
We have several ways to help you assess the quality of the child care providers you are considering.
OPTION 1: USE THE STARS PROGRAM
Participation in STARS means a program meets quality standards, is professionally run, and continuously strives to be their best.
OPTION 2: REVIEW THE PROGRAM'S INFORMATION
This includes looking at the program's participation in STARS, accreditation, and regulatory history.
