ARPA Child Care Stabilization Grant Program
Funds to help regulated child care providers cover unexpected business costs associated with the pandemic and stabilize their operations so they can continue providing care. The application period closed in June 2022.
Child Care Workforce Retention Bonus Program
The program provides retention incentive payments to eligible child care and afterschool provider staff to help encourage child care programs to remain open and support ongoing employment in the child care and afterschool care workforce.
Extraordinary Financial Relief
Child care centers at imminent risk of closure, in areas with high poverty rates, may seek financial assistance through the Extraordinary Financial Relief program.

Offers a financial bonus for regulated early childhood & afterschool programs that have achieved national accreditation.
Quality Recognition Seeking Grant for NAEYC Fees
Helps early childhood & afterschool programs with the fees associated with National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accreditation.
Quality Recognition Seeking Grant for NAFCC Fees
Helps regulated family child care homes with the fees associated with National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC) accreditation.
Room For Me Program
The program aims to expand existing afterschool and summer programs and start new ones to increase families' access to afterschool and summer programs.
Special Accommodation Grants
Special Accommodation Grants (SAG) are for Vermont Licensed Specialized Child Care Programs to support a child or children’s safe and successful inclusion within the child care program. Applications will be accepting grant applications monthly between February 14, 2023, and September 29, 2023.
Strengthening Families Grants
Grants to programs support families and children experiencing medical, socio-economic, or developmental challenges to access high-quality services. Applications are not currently being accepted.
