Oversees the allocation of CJA funds for projects that improve the assessment, investigation, prosecution, and judicial handling of child abuse and neglect cases.
Task Force Membership
We look for members who have knowledge & experience with the criminal justice/child welfare systems, represent certain professions, and have experience working with, advocating for, or parenting children & youth.
What We Do
We are responsible for making sure funds are not used for direct service or prevention. Members vote on funding applications and help assess the system's response to child abuse and neglect cases.
State Coordinator
The coordinator is responsible for administering the Children's Justice Act Grant funds allocated to the Vermont and coordinating the work of the Task Force.
