We wanted to share a few important reminders and updates with you about CDDIS (Child Development Division Information System).

CDDIS Help Desk and Eligiblity Specialist Turnaround Times

We want to start by thanking you for your continued patience. Since the launch of CDDIS, we have been experiencing a larger volume of requests for support, with turnaround times being longer than normal. Please know that our CDDIS Help Desk and Eligibility Specialists within our Community Child Care Support Agencies are working as quickly and efficiently as possible to process these requests.

If you have submitted a request for support, please know that some requests may require more details or additional research, so we ask that you please allow 3 business days for the CDDIS Help Desk or an Eligibility Specialist to respond to your request. If you do not receive a response within 3 business days, please resend.

CDDIS Training Materials

If you are a child care provider and have questions about accessing CDDIS, or submitting or viewing your child care financial assistance information within CDDIS, please review our training materials and our past blog posts.

  • If you need additional support after reviewing the training material and past blog posts, please submit a CDDIS Help Desk Request.
  • If you have questions about the Bright Futures Information System (BFIS), please submit a BFIS Help Desk Request.

A reminder to child care providers - please DO NOT submit your child care attendance for the service period starting 7/3/2022 into BFIS; you will not receive a payment. If you have already submitted attendance in BFIS for the service period starting 7/3/2022, please resubmit within CDDIS.

  • For the service periods prior to 7/3/2022 - child care attendance must be submitted within BFIS.
  • For the service periods starting 7/3/2022 and after - child care attendance must be submitted within CDDIS.

COVID-19 Sick Code Request Form

Child care providers are no longer required to complete a COVID-19 Sick Code Request Form. Child care providers may continue to use “S” (sick) codes when the program must close due to a staff person or child with a positive COVID-19 test or if they have been in direct contact with a COVID-19 positive person.
