Important Updates & Reminders for Programs about Child Care Attendance

Category
August 9, 2023

Please see below for information about an early submission deadline for child care attendance, the FT/PT (full-time/part-time) checkbox on attendance reports, certificates, and recent updates to some training materials.

Also, as a reminder, or for those unaware, you can visit our CCFAP Information for Providers page, which contains trainings, tools, resources, and a list of who to contact for support.

Early Submission Deadline

Due to the Bennington Battle Day holiday, please submit your child care attendance for the Child Care Financial Assistance Program (CCFAP) NO LATER than 12 pm on Tuesday, August 15th. Paper checks will be mailed on Thursday, August 17th, and depending on your bank, direct deposits will be in accounts on Friday, August 18th.

View the 2023 Payments Calendar for other service periods affected by state and federal holidays.

Submitting Attendance Reports – FT/PT Button

Guidance for when to check the FT/PT (Full Time/Part Time) box on your attendance report is on page 16 of the CDDIS Attendance Report training.

  • Only check the box when a child with a FT/PT certificate is present or registered for full-time hours (over 26 hours) during a week, and attendance codes are used.
  • DO NOT check the FT/PT box if the child is in attendance for full-time hours in the week.

Certificates

If you have questions about certificates for children in your care, including school-aged children during vacation weeks, please contact the Eligibility Specialist BEFORE submitting your attendance for the child(ren). We are unable to make changes to certificates once attendance is submitted, which may impact the amount you are paid through CCFAP. Reaching out to the Eligibility Specialist before submitting attendance allows us to help better ensure you are paid the correct amount.

Provider Rate Agreement (PRA) Training Materials

The training document on Submitting, Viewing, and Editing PRAs in the Child Development Division Information System (CDDIS) is updated and further clarifies parts of the process.
