UPDATE: COVID-19 Testing in Child Care Programs

We wanted to provide you with a few updates as a follow up to our October 26, 2021, COVID-19 Testing In Child Care Programs communication.

• The Vermont Agency of Education released late last week that schools with a Prekindergarten (Pre-K) program in the building can extend their Test to Stay program to include that student population. If you are a Pre-K program located in a school building and have questions, please reach out to your school administrator, nurse, or COVID coordinator. 
• The State, through the Child Development Division, is developing a simplified program in parallel with Test to Stay for other child care programs and will share details on this program in the new year.
