As public health conditions in Vermont relative to COVID-19 continue to improve, the Tests for Tots program is scheduled to be discontinued on April 4th, 2022. With the conclusion of this test supply program, staff and families can still make appointments at a State of Vermont testing site to obtain up to eight rapid antigen tests or one LAMP test per appointment for their use at home. Children under the age of 2 years may continue to obtain PCR tests at a State of Vermont testing site or through their primary care provider.

Please place final orders for tests by the end of the day on Sunday, April 3rd, as we will be unable to process any orders after that time.

All of us at the Child Development Division and the Vermont Department of Health (VDH) want to thank you for your extraordinary efforts to provide take-home tests to Vermont families. Because of your work to-date, thousands of in-person child care days have been preserved, and more than 197,000 antigen tests have been distributed in the past three months, to the enormous benefit of children and their families.
