The Child Development Division is pleased to share three complementary reports related to the early childhood and afterschool workforce; these reports were produced with data collected between September 2021 and June 2023.
Together, the reports examine the size and strength of the workforce serving Vermont’s young children in three specific contexts. Given the importance of a skilled and stable workforce serving young children, these reports provide valuable information to guide Vermont’s collective effort to tailor policy and strengthen programs to meet the state’s needs.
Children’s Integrated Services (CIS) 2023 Workforce Report: This report provides information on the composition, needs, educational attainment, compensation, and satisfaction of the workforce implementing CIS individualized prevention and early intervention services for young children and their families.
