Part C Administrator (Req ID: 21221)

The Child Development Division is seeking a skilled professional with an early childhood background to join our team as Part C Administrator for the Children's Integrated Services Unit (CIS). This role is responsible for managing Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) for the state of Vermont. Key projects include collaborating with a diverse array of stakeholders, providing oversight and analysis of programmatic data, directing the delivery of services to eligible children, and required federal reporting. Can manage complex systems serving young children with disabilities and medical diagnoses. This is an ideal position for individuals who like working at a systems and policy level, appreciate a fast-paced, diverse workday, and wants to support services for infants and toddlers with disabilities.  This position works as part of a dynamic team, committed to ensuring Vermont’s children and their families have equitable access to upstream health promotion, prevention, and early intervention services. Work is performed under the general direction of the Children's Integrated Services Director. There may be some opportunity to work remotely in this position, aligning with AHS guidance and policies.

Preferred Qualifications: Direct experience with early childhood, including but not limited to education, special education, social work, or healthcare.

Home Visiting Coordinator (Req ID: 21205)

The Child Development Division is recruiting for a Home Visiting Coordinator for the Children's Integrated Services Unit (CIS). This role will be responsible for administrative work at a professional level involving the coordination of elements of an array of statewide home visiting and early childhood and family mental health programs and services which are provided via local community -based organizations. Responsibilities include developing key collaborative relationships with various stakeholders, tracking and reporting of program data and activities at both the local and statewide levels for these systems, and collaborating with the CIS team to support the development and well-being of Vermont’s children and families. This is an ideal position for individuals who enjoy a balance of systems-level work and cooperating with diverse teams. Work is performed under the general direction of the Children's Integrated Services Director. There may be some opportunity to work remotely in this position, aligning with AHS guidance and policies.

Preferred Qualifications: Nursing, home visiting, and or mental health services experience.
