VB5 is launching this service as part of its contract with the Child Development Division to coordinate regional professional development opportunities for early childhood learning and care professionals in 2017. In 2018, the Community College of Vermont (CCV) will assume responsibility for regional training and support activities.
The Professional Development Resource phone and email hotline is available to all child care providers and employees in the state to answer professional development questions. For questions that can't be answered by email or telephone, VB5 will arrange local onsite support, including scheduled face-to-face time with an experienced child care/early learning provider who can help.

The hotline and email will be staffed Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM. Emails and phone calls will be answered and/or responded to by an experienced early childhood professional within 24 business hours.
