Survey of Child Care Program Director Needs
Dear Program Director,
The "Professional Development Think Tank", a statewide committee that is part of the Professional Preparation and Development Committee, is looking at the needs of program directors. We know program directors of early childhood and afterschool programs are key to providing quality services for children and families Vermont. We have created a survey to learn from you about your needs as a director and the best ways to support you. Thank you for your participation.
What do we mean by program directors? Please take the survey if you are a director and work in a program or organization serving children. Specifically we want to hear from Administrators (e.g., principal, director of multiple program sites), Program Directors/Site Coordinators and Assistant Directors/Administrators. Please only complete one survey.
This survey should take no more than 5-10 minutes to complete. Please reply by January 31, 2017. Five respondents will be randomly selected to receive a useful gift by mail! In order to be entered into this drawing, please add your name and address at the end of the survey. Your name and address are only for entry into the survey. Who will be using the results of the survey? The Professional Development Think Tank committee will be collating the results of the survey and using them to do several things: hold regional conversations to learn more from you about the director's perspective; better design training and online tool boxes to meet your needs as a director; and consider how mentoring and coaching could be organized to help you.
