Student Loan Repayment Assistance Program
The Student Loan Repayment Assistance Program for Vermont’s early childhood educators provides up to $4,000 annually to reduce the student debt of full-time educators who earned an early childhood related degree.
Early Childhood Leadership Institute (ECLI)
The Snelling Center for Government is still accepting applications for a new cohort in the ECLI. The ECLI seeks to stimulate enthusiasm for and effective participation in efforts to improve early childhood work in Vermont.
Introduction to Afterschool Education Course
Vermont Afterschool is still accepting applications for this fall Community College of Vermont (CCV) course. The course is FREE for individuals working in licensed afterschool child care programs.
The course starts September 5th and limited slots are available.
New Scholarship Opportunities for Vermont Students
CCV and the Vermont State Colleges (VSC) are offering millions of dollars in scholarships, free tuition, and other financial aid opportunities for Vermont students during the 2023-2024 academic year.
Professional Development Grants & Bonuses
The Vermont Association for the Education of Young Children (VTAEYC) administers grants and bonuses for early childhood and afterschool professionals on behalf of CDD.
Afterschool Essentials
An accelerated half-year program that Vermont Afterschool offers FREE for afterschool staff working in licensed afterschool child care programs. Fall session registration is now open! This learning opportunity will benefit the newly hired professional working directly with children, those with limited experience, or a new program director who has not worked in this setting before.
Those who complete the full course will also be eligible for the Afterschool Foundations Certificate and a $100 bonus from CDD.
