Children and Family Council for Prevention Programs (CFCPP)

CFCPP is the State Advisory Board for youth justice, delinquency and primary prevention in Vermont.

Established by the Vermont legislature in 1986, it is the State advisory group to the Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention Act.

Council Membership

Members are appointed for three-year terms by the governor, with the advice and consent of the Senate. We look for people who have experience in human services, the justice system and prevention. Three members must have personal experience with the justice sytem, 20% must be appointed before they turn 24 and no more than 49% can be from government.
