DCF works with many community partners to get the work done.  Below are a few of the main ones:

Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs)

Provide information and assistance to older Vermonters and their families.

Children's Integrated Services (CIS) Coordinators

Help parents access the services they and their children are eligible for. 

Community Action Agencies (CAPs)

Help lower-income Vermonters meet their basic needs and become self-sufficient.

Community Child Care Support Agencies (CCCSAs)

Help families find child care and apply for Child Care Financial Assistance.

Fuel Dealers (pdf)

Are certified as fuel & utility suppliers with the Fuel Assistance Program.

Mandated Reporters in Vermont

Are legally required to report suspected child abuse or neglect to DCF's Family Services Division (FSD).  

Parent Child Centers (PCCs)

Help families make sure children get off to a healthy start.

Specialized Child Care Coordinators

Help child care providers, social workers, and families with issues related to specialized child care.

UVM - Child Welfare Training Partnership (CWTP)

Provides training and professional development for DCF staff and contractors as well as for  foster, kinship and adoptive parents.

Weatherization Partners

Help lower-income Vermonters apply for the Weatherization Program.
