The Weatherization Assistance Program helps lower-income Vermonters to save fuel and money by improving the energy efficiency of their homes.

Our weatherization partners across the state are seeking full-time weatherization workers. The work involves making energy, health & safety improvements and minor repairs to single- and multi-family residences.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Tasks include basic carpentry and a variety of air sealing and insulation techniques.

We need dependable individuals who have:

  • A valid driver’s license & good driving record
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of construction and carpentry skills 
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • The ability to:
    • Work professionally with coworkers and clients
    • Follow established health and safety procedures
    • Safely use power tools and equipment
    • Do work that is physically demanding
