SWFI provides eligible parents and guardians with no cost training and supports so they can succeed in Vermont's manufacturing sector. You may be eligible if you are the parent or guardian of a child under 14; 17 years of age or older and interested in a career in manufacturing.

Certified Production Technician (CPT)
Achieving certification is a great investment in your future. It means you’ll qualify for higher-wage jobs and positions with stronger room for growth.
The CPT Training now has two formats
You don't need a high school diploma to participate. Class meets once a week for three hours. Each module is 7 weeks long. You can earn up to five industry recognized credentials.
- Community College of Vermont (CCV) Open Enrollment Credit Courses:
You need a high school diploma to participate in Principles of Manufacturing and Manufacturing Technology. You can earn three credits for each class.
