The Department for Children and Families (DCF) is pleased to announce plans for the development of a secure youth treatment center, the Green Mountain Youth Campus.
As of April 7, more Vermont families qualify for financial assistance to help pay for regulated child care, preschool, and afterschool care. For example, a family of four earning $124,800 per year qualifies.
The State has set up short-term transitional shelters to support people experiencing homelessness who do not qualify for General Assistance Emergency Housing so are no longer eligible for state funded rooms in hotels/motels unless established weather conditions are met.
