Programs Receiving an Early Care and Development Program Grant in April 2019
The Vermont Legislature and Governor have approved money to fund Early Care and Development Program (ECDP) grants for state fiscal year 2019. Center Based and Family Child Care Homes that participate in VT STARS (at any STAR level) and provide services to a high number of Child Care Financial Assistance Program eligible children, particularly Child Care Financial Assistance Program eligible infants and toddlers are eligible to receive funds.
The programs who receive the grants are determined using a formula determined by the legislature. Each quarter the Child Development Division (CDD) will use the formula to determine which programs receive the grants. The Child Development Division has determined the grant recipients for the third quarter (April) of payments, and the list of the programs is posted on the CDD website along with more information about the grants: http://dcf.vermont.gov/cdd/providers/grants/ecdp.

April grants will be paid by May 6, 2019 to all programs determined eligible, are in good regulatory standing, are participating in STARS at the time of the grant payment, and if applicable submitted their January 2019 Early Care and Development grant report.
