Lawrence is 13 years old. Here’s what he'd like you to know about him.

My favorite things:

Computers. Pro wrestling. World record books. Staying up late.

My favorite foods:

Toast, Domino's Pizza, salt and vinegar chips, chicken nuggets, BBQ sauce, chocolate, Gatorade, hot chocolate, energy drinks, and eggs.

Things I do not like:

Chunky tomato sauce, sharing a room, sharing things, snow and cold weather, math, reading, and eating school lunch.

Activities I enjoy:

Talking to friends, watching action movies, riding my bike, watching South Park/Family Guy, spending my money, wearing sweatshirts, reading Diary of a Wimpy Kid books, listening to music on my iPod, Facebook, playing games on the Internet, and helping to cook.

What I want in a family:

A family that will let me:

• Have friends over,
• Stay inside if I want to,
• Access a TV and the Internet,
• Play video games, and
• Have reasonable chores for my age.

What we want you to know about Lawrence:

Despite occasional challenges, Lawrence has made significant gains in school and in his ability to regulate his emotions and behaviors. He does struggle sometimes with the ability to cope. He is currently working with a therapist to address his issues and past trauma.

What we are seeking in a family for Lawrence:

Lawrence needs someone who:

• Can provide a nurturing environment, clear and firm limits, and consistent boundaries;
• Is willing to participate in any recommended trainings and therapy sessions; and
• Can be patient, nurturing, and loving even when his anger is a challenge.

He can be in a home with older or younger siblings; however having a child of similar age might be difficult as he struggles with the thought of “competition”.
