These two sisters — Lauren (15) and Tiffany (14) — are waiting for their forever family. While they could potentially be adopted separately, they would really like to stay together.
About the girls:
Those closest to the girls describe Lauren as caring and outoing and Tiffany as shy (at least at first) but with a great sense of humor. They both do well in school, love doing sports, and would like to stay connected to their other siblings.
What Lauren wants you to know about her:
I’d like a family that can take me and my sister Tiffany. I like farms, animals, trying new things, my ipod and SHOES! I enjoy being active, starting the car in the morning, horse back riding and texting my friends. What do I want from a family? Love\caring, to feel safe, and supported. I want people to listen to me (that’s a pet peeve). I want to remain in contact with my siblings and birth mom.
I love food, I hate seafood, I love going out to eat occasionally, and I love chewing gum! I need time to think things through before I can process when I am angry or trying to sort things out. When I’m pushed, I will shut down and usually become quiet.
What Tiffany wants you to know about her:
I am looking for a supportive family with a nurturing mother figure. I need a mom and would love to have some siblings, especially a sister. I am not a girly-girl. I like sports, farms, and boys. I do well in school, I like school, and I have lots of friends. I am on a basketball team and enjoy the competition. I like playing videogames, being on Facebook, and listening to music. The one important thing for people to know about me is if I’m upset and someone gets in my face, I shut down. I am working on my emotions. I do not like the color pink. I love seafood!
About the familes we are looking for:
The ideal family for Lauren & Tiffany likes doing things together and has animals, possibly even a farm! Younger siblings in the home would be okay. Out-of-state inquiries will be considered as long as connections can be maintained with family members.
