Koree is 13 years old. Here's what he would like you to know about him.

My favorite activities:

I love being outdoors — whether it is summer or winter. I like playing basketball, sledding, playing with my friends, and playing video and computer games. I also like Legos and building things with wood. My favorite activity is playing chess. Watch out! I’m pretty good.

My favorite foods:

Home cooked meals. Macaroni and cheese with Kielbasa.

What I want in a family:

A nice, loving family that is not mean to me. I want to be able to have ongoing contact with my parents.

What we'd like you to know about Koree:

He is a smart, caring, and active teen who wants a family to call his own. He loves to learn and often asks for additional work at school. He is good at math and likes challenging math problems. He has a great sense of humor and enjoys interacting with both peers and adults.

He has a difficult time staying out of other people’s business and frequently gets in trouble for intervening in situations that don’t involve him. He loves to be the center of attention. He needs to work on anger management and better ways of handling his feelings.

What we are seeking in a family for Koree:

He would do best as the only or youngest child in the home. Because of his traumatic upbringing, he needs a stable, consistent home environment with predictable daily routines.
