Eli

Eli is waiting in foster care for a family to adopt him.

Eli is an adorable 9-year-old boy with many strengths: he is energetic, creative, imaginative, caring, thoughtful, clever, open to new experiences, and appreciative when people do kind things for him.

His favorite things:

He loves toys (especially action figures), loves to play, and loves attention from adults.

What we want you to know about him:

Eli has experienced trauma and loss during his young life. He currently resides in a residential treatment program where he is working on  managing his emotions and developing a positive sense of self.

What we are seeking in a family for him:

Eli needs an active, playful, and commited family that can keep up with him and stick by him through his ups and downs. His ideal family is willing to:

  • Learn about caring for a child who has experienced complex trauma;
  • Support his slow transition into their home; and
  • Continue to support and engage in ongoing treatment with Eli as he continues on his path toward healing.

Eli would likely thrive in a family where he was the only child and had all of the adult attention.
