Dustin is 15 years old. Here's what he would like you to know about him.

My Favorite Foods:

Chicken fingers and French fries. But I like almost everything. Except for avocados and tomatoes.

My Favorite Activities:

Playing hoops with my friends, hanging out, and sometimes playing video games. I spend about 90% of my time outside, and that is where I am most comfortable. I love to go hunting and riding four wheelers. I am very good at sports, and want the opportunity to continue playing basketball, baseball, and football. I also like to snowboard and swim. Oh, by the way did I mention I like to go hunting?

What I Want In A Family:

I would like to have a mom and a dad. A brother and sister would be nice, but is not required. If I could only have one parent, I'd like a dad.  I want my new family to treat me like their own.

What I Would Like Families to Know About Me:

I am a pleasant, generous and caring person. I get along well with people.

I’ve had a lot of disappointment in my life and can sometimes get stuck thinking about it. I get angry when adults don’t follow through with their promises. I respond quickly to a helping hand or word of support. I can work through any situation with help. I appreciate people’s help and love to laugh and play.

I believe that people can change and am learning how to handle my frustrations. I have come a long way in the past five years. I have a lot of empathy for others and would like to be a role model for younger kids.

What We'd Like You To Know About Dustin:

Dustin is a genuinely likeable boy who wants to do well.  He has suffered a lot of loss in his short lifetime and is looking for stability so he can move on. Dustin can get frustrated fairly easily and has been working hard to control his anger.

What We are Seeking in a Family for Dustin:

Dustin would do well with experienced parents who know how to deescalate a child that is upset. Dustin used to go hunting with relatives, and that is something he very much wants to continue doing.
