The Office of Child Support does not automatically collect and store information about you if you only browse, read or download information from this web site. However, you may choose to submit information through Email, surveys or completion of on-line forms. The Office of Child Support will not knowingly collect or use personal information from children.
The contents of your Email message (including audio, video and graphics information) along with your return Email address will be collected to respond directly to you and may be used to address the issues you have identified in your Email. If you have a case with us, the information you provide may also be used to handle your case. This may include forwarding your information to a tribunal (court) or another governmental agency.
Nondisclosure and Public Access to Information
The Office of Child Support may request certain personal information in order to establish and enforce child support obligations. The information that you provide either through this web site, an in-person visit, mail or phone call may be protected by state and federal law. The Office of Child Support’s records are confidential and we will not share your personal information unless required by state or federal law, subpoena, court order or legal process. Additionally, this information may be considered a public record once you provide it, and may be subject to public inspection, distribution and copying if not protected by state or federal law.
