The State of Vermont offers free and low-cost health care programs under the umbrella of Green Mountain Care. There may be a program for you, no matter how much you earn!

A comprehensive health insurance plan offered by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Vermont  in cooperation with the State of Vermont. There is no upper income limit. Depending on your income, you may qualify for premium assistance (see below).

Provides free or low-cost coverage for low-income children, youth under 21, parents, pregnant women, caretaker relatives, people who are blind or disabled and those age 65 or older. Eligibility is based on income and resources (e.g., cash, bank accounts, etc.).
