This webpage is for Vermont schools and other agencies who receive food through the USDA Foods Program. It includes links to the documents, tools, and websites you'll need to order food and stay on top of related issues.
Ordering Food Online
The 2013-14 school year will mark the first time schools will be able to request food for the year and manage their own food and deliveries using the Web-Based Supply Chain Management System (WBSCM).
Note: If you’re printing out your Catalog Worksheet, use legal size paper.
Swap Post
Swap Post items are extra cases of USDA Foods that the State of VT orders in order to reach full truck loads. Vermont schools participating in the USDA Foods Program can claim cases off the Swap Post, in addition to their regular WBSCM orders. To claim items, Food Service Managers should fill out the claim form and email it to mary.krueger@state.vt.us by the 15th of the month. The Swap Post will close on the 15th of the month, and claimed cases will be allocated. Any items remaining will be reposted to the Swap Post the following month, until all cases have been claimed.
