Invite to the Child Abuse Prevention Month Proclamation
Please join Governor Phil Scott and guests for the proclamation of April 2017 as Child Abuse Prevention Month in Vermont. This event is co-sponsored by Prevent Child Abuse Vermont (PCAVT) and the Vermont Department for Children and Families (DCF).
When: Tuesday, April 4, 2017, from 10:30 to 11:30AM
Where: The Cedar Creek Room at the State House
- Speakers will include Governor Phil Scott, DCF Commissioner Ken Schatz and President of PCAVT's Board of Directors Steve Dale
- Following the ceremony, PCAVT staff will be serving Ben & Jerry’s ice cream in the cafeteria. All are welcome and invited to attend!
- To help bring attention to the importance of safe and happy childhoods, PCAVT staff and volunteers will plant a pinwheel garden on the State House lawn earlier that morning.
