ESD helps individuals and families meet their basic needs by providing public benefits such as 3SquaresVT (formerly food stamps), Essential Person, Fuel Assistance, and Reach Up.

Benefits Service Center: Call 1-800-479-6151 toll free during business hours (Monday to Thursday, 8AM to  5:45 PM, Fridays, 8AM – 4:15 PM). You can get information about programs, request an application form, access information about your case, report changes that may affect eligibility, and to report fraud.
