Child Development Division (CDD)
CDD ensures access to high-quality child care and child development services.

Community Child Care Support Agencies: Contact your local agency for help finding child care and to apply for child care financial assistance.
Parent Child Centers: Contact your local center for general information about child and family issues, home visits, playgroups, and training opportunities.
Economic Services Division (ESD)
ESD helps individuals and families meet their basic needs by providing public benefits such as 3SquaresVT (formerly food stamps), Essential Person, Fuel Assistance, and Reach Up.

Family Services Division (FSD)
FSD is responsible for making sure children and youth are safe, their basic needs are met, they abide by the law, and families are supported to achieve these goals.

Office of Child Support (OCS)
OCS improves the economic well-being of children by establishing, collecting, enforcing, and modifying child support orders for children living in divided homes.

Office of Disability Determination Services (DDS)
DDS determines the eligibility of Vermonters who apply for disability benefits under three programs: Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI), Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Medicaid.

Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO)
OEO works in partnership with the private sector, community-based organizations, and others to increase the self-sufficiency of Vermonters, strengthen Vermont communities, and eliminate the causes and symptoms of poverty.
