Flu refers to illnesses caused by a number of different influenza viruses. Flu can cause a range of symptoms and effects, from mild to lethal. General information about the flu can be found at www.flu.gov or the Vermont Department of Health website.

This letter contains new guidelines, updates and information for child care providers about the H1N1 virus.

Letter to Families (October 2009)
This letter can be distributed by child care providers to the families that have children in their care. It has information about the flu.


Teacher’s Guide to Helping Children Wash Hands
